Brooke “Rowdy” Goudy found a love for bike-packing while completing the Great Divide Mountain Biking Route(GDMBR). She took her time and party paced it from the border of Canada to Mexico. It was an unforgettable experience that she has brought back to her community. She now supports a yearly bike-packing trip for women of color annually.

May 2022 Brooke Goudy hosted a Black Girls Do Bike + Roam Events event in her home state of Alabama.

"The one major goal was Black joy. In this country it's so easy to relive our trauma as Black folks. As we grieve over that, is important that we also be able to find our joy again. This is the way I find joy, through mountain biking.
